Ingredients

    1 lb extra lean ground beef, browned, drained and rinsed.
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 cups diced tomatoes
    2 green peppers chopped
    2 cups tomato sauce
    3 cups water
    1 tablespoon beef bouillon (I used 3 cubes)
    1 tsp seasoned salt
    dash pepper
    1 cup cooked white rice.

Directions

Put all ingredients into a slow cooker for 6-8 hours.

    I tried it with 1 green, 1 red and 1 yellow pepper. I used 2 cans of rotel instead of tomatos, a can of tomato soup instead of tomato sauce. Excellent! - 11/29/09

    i added beef broth and some brown sugar... the same way i make my stuffed peppers. also brown rice and it was thick and rich MMmmmm such a keeper! - 6/15/11

    Ooo this will be perfect for my mom and I. She loves soup! And I love green peppers and we never have enough peppers to make stuffed peppers because theres only two of us. Can't wait to try it. Thanks :) - 5/24/11
