Introduction

I use this bread to get more potassium, magnesium, fiber and B vitamins. It is higher in carories, but I find it really hard to get these nutrients from other sources. Ingredients

    1 cup flour
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1/4 cup canola oil
    1 egg beaten
    1 cup sour milk (milk plus 0.25tsp of vinegar)
    1/2 cup molasses
    1/4 cup flax seed
    1/4 cup cranberries
    1/4 cup sunflower seeds
    2 tbsp sesame seeds
    1/4 cup wheatgerm
    1/4 cup crushed pecans
    1/4 cup raisins



Directions

Sift flour, salt and baking soda, add whole wheat flour and sugar. Combine wet ingredients in seperate bowl. Add seeds, nuts, wheat germ, raisins and cranberries into the dry mixture. Pour wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir until flour has been moistened.

Pour into prepared loaf pan or 8X8 square pan. Bake 325 degrees for 1 hour for loaf pan and 30 minutes for square pan.
