Introduction

I used raisins instead of dates I used raisins instead of dates
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 cup quinoa, soaked
    1 cup rolled oats
    3 cups water
    dasg sea salt
    1/2 cup raisins
    1 tsp nutmeg
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

Place first four ingredients into a pot with tight fitting lid. Cover. bring to a boil. Simmer for 30 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Turn off heat, and let sit, covered for five minutes.
Serve with berries

    Incredible!
    You are too funny, HAWGWILD1, but honest lol. I revamped this recipe a bit, I always have Rogers mix porridge for breakfast (oats, wheat bran, oat bran, flaxseed) to which I add wheat germ and eat with milk. So I substituted quinoa for half the mix, now I have Super Inca Porridge. No sweet extras. - 1/21/10

    O.K.
    I made this recipe from the cook book and also used raisins instead of dates. But it was not very tastey. It's not sweet at all, my husband couldn't even eat it. I had to add some honey to sweeeten it for me to eat it. - 11/3/09
