Ingredients
-
1 pound ground beef
2 cups raw carrots, chopped
2 cups potato, chopped
2 cups sweet corn, canned
1 large onion
4 Tbsp. margarine (60/40)
Salt, Pepper, and additional spices to taste
Non-stick cooking spray
Aluminum foil (heavy duty recommended)
Directions
Cut all vegetables into sizes that will finish cooking at about the same time, about 1/2 inch is good.
Using a cereal bowl for a mold, mold one sheet of foil around bottom of bowl then place it inside to make adding ingredients easier.
Spray the foil with Non-stick cooking spray.
Add raw hamburger, crumbled; 1/4 cup of each vegetable; top with 1 Tbsp. of margarine and season to taste.
Remove foil from bowl and seal the foil around the food. Wrap in another layer of foil if using heavy duty foil or use two more sheets of foil if using regular duty; this will keep food from buring before its done.
Place on grill about 4 inches from medium heat or if camping, place foil directly in the coals.
Cook 5-6 minutes before turning over. Cook another 8-14 minutes, this will depend on how hot the coals are.
Remove from heat. Carefully open layers of foil and eat. Caution, food will be extremely hot.
Serves 4
**NOTE: Ingredients can be varied and substituted. This can easily be made into a vegetarian dish.
