Introduction

This is my version of a Greek Pita it has 8 Weight Watcher Points (half a sandwich is very filling 4 points) Serve with your favorite salad or soup and you have a nice meal. Ingredients

    19.2 oz HoneySuckle White Ground Turkey
    3/4 tsp Cumin
    3/4 tsp Oregano (crush between palms of hands)
    1/2 tsp each pepper and salt
    4 garlic (roast 30 minutes in oven)cool & mash
    1/2 C Feta Cheese
    Sauce:
    1/2 Cucumber peeled and diced
    1 clove garlic chopped
    1 T fresh mint chopped
    3/4 C Dannon NonFat Plain Yogurt
    1 tsp Red Wine Vinegar
    4 Papa Pita Whole Wheat Pita Bread (6 inches)
    Topping:
    1 Tomato diced
    1/2 C Red Onion Diced
    1 C. shredded lettuce

Directions

Prepare Garlic Cloves (I used a whole head tops cut off)sprayed with olive oil cooking spray. roast in oven 350 degrees 30 minutes.
In a Medium size bowl add the ground turkey meat, spices roasted mashed garlic and feta cheese mix well until everything is incorporated. Divide the mixture into 4 burgers. pat into rounds and grill on hot grill that has been sprayed with cooking spray. cook about 8 minutes total. or until done.

I prepare my sauce while the garlic is roasting.
Sauce:
Add the 1/2 diced cucumber 1 chopped garlic and 1 T. fresh mint leaves to 6 oz of fat free dannon plain yogurt. add the 1 tsp red wine vinegar.
2 T. equals 15 calories.

Prepare the toppings next
chopped tomato, diced red onion and shredded lettuce.

Warm the Pita Breads on the Grill until pliable.

When Burgers are done put them in the Pita bread and add toppings and sauce.
