Introduction

Awesome! Will make you feel like you had a sip of hard liquor. Serve in martini glass over ice. Can be used as a base for cokctails. Makes a mean margarita!!! Awesome! Ingredients

    1 pound fresh ginger root
    6 cups water
    3 tbsp honey

Directions

Bring the water to boil in a medium saucepan. In the meantime, wash the ginger roots (no need to peel) and grate them.

When the water is boiling, put the ginger in, turn the heat off ,and let steep for about 45 minutes.

Stir in honey, filter and store in the refrigerator.

Makes 12 servings (1/2 cup each)

Stores well in used liquor bottles. (looks better, too! It is an aperitive, after all!!!)

To make margarita, pour 1-2 cups of ice in the blender, juice from 1 or 2 limes, 1 tbsp sugar, and 1 cup ginger apperitive. Mix and enjoy!
