This smoothie is a great way to start your day! It gives you a burst of energy and works with any unsweetened frozen fruit you have on hand! This smoothie is a great way to start your day! It gives you a burst of energy and works with any unsweetened frozen fruit you have on hand!

Ingredients



    * Spinach, fresh, 1.5 cup
    * Fruit, Private Selection Berry Medley or smoothie fruit mix, 1 cup
    * Water, tap, .5 cup (8 fl oz)
    * Flaxseed, 1 tbsp
    * Wheat germ, crude, 1 tsp
    * Honey, 1 tbsp (or sugar free substation)

Directions

Place all but honey and half of frozen fruit in a blender. Blend on high (or Smoothie setting if poss) till well blended. Add rest of ingredients and blend till you reach desired texture.

    Very Good
    I was a little hesitant to try this, but it was pretty good. I had to had sugar and I used frozen spinach. It turned out tasty though! - 2/1/10
