    2 cups whole wheat flour
2 Tbs. sugar (may use 1/4 cup for sweeter muffins)

    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/4 cups water
    1/2 cup applesauce

  • I made this this evening. The muffins seem a bit dry and not a lot of flavor. I used Mott's peach apple sauce instead of plain. - 1/13/10
