Ingredients

2 heaping handfuls of Fresh Spinach
    1 handful of Strawberries (sliced)
4 oz of raw meat (chicken, lean beef or shrimp)
2 tbsp of celery seed vinegar

Directions

chop spinach into bite sized pieces, slice strawberries
Cook 4 oz of meat however you see fit - grilled seems to taste best. cut into bite sized pieces and place in bowl with spinach and strawberries top with 2 tbsp of celery seed vinegar garnish with seseme seeds. Letting the mixture wilt a little really gives it a good taste.

How are you able to give nutritional info and not provide accurate amounts? Not everyone's hands are the same size. In a diet such as Dr Simeons protocal, measurements are important.

That aside, it's delish & makes a great on-the-go salad. It provides 1 fruit, 1 veggie and 1 meat serving for P1

Thank you for reveiwing my recipe. When I calculated the calories, I used a bundle of spinach. Which is about 2 heaping handfuls. I like this recipe better with oil in it but it isn't allowed so..... I love this recipe for on the go lunches. It can even be heated up if you want a warm lunch.

I had this with my steak tonight so I didn't add the meat to the salad. I used the cucumber dressing recipe that is in the cucumber salad on this site. It was outstanding!!! I will probably have this with grilled chicken soon. Great idea. - 9/14/10
