Introduction

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. Millet
1 1/2 c. Wheat germ
1 1/2 c.Whole Wheat Flour
1 c. Almonds, slivered
1/2 c. Steel Cut Oats
9 c. Old Fashioned rolled oatmeal
3/4 c. Honey
1/4 c. Canola Oil
3/4 c. Applesauce, unsweetened
1 TBS. Cinnamon, ground
1 TBS. Vanilla Extract
1/2 c. Cranberries, dried, sweetened (craisins)
1/2 c. Raisins
1/2 c. Dried Cherries
1/2 c. Dried Apples
1/4 c. Sugar Free Syrup
1/2 c. packed Brown Sugar
1 1/2 tsp. Salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 225 degrees.
Mix all of the dry ingredients, except the fruit, together in a large bowl. Mix all of the wet ingredients together in another bowl. Add the wet ingredients to the dry and stir well. Spread the contents of the large bowl onto cooking sheets (I use two large pans with sides).
Bake on 225 degrees for 90 minutes stiring every 30. Turn oven off and allow to cool in the oven, the granola will crisp as the oven cools. Add the fruit and store in an airtight container. Yields approximately 30- 1/2 cup servings.
