Ingredients
-
1 1/4 lb of ground turkey
1 can pinto beans
1 can refried beans
1 T chili powder
1/4 t garlic powder
1/4 t onion powder
1/8 t cayenne pepper
1/4 t dried oregano
1 1/2 t ground cumin
1 t sea salt
1 t black pepper
12 whole wheat tortillas
1/3 c water
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, and spray bottom of a 9x13 baking dish with Pam.
2. In a small bowl mix together all the spices, and set aside.
3. Brown the ground turkey in a large skillet. Drain. Add in the spices, as much as you want for taste (I probably used 1 1/2 T of the spice mix) the water, and pinto beans. Stir well and cook over med. high heat until most of the liquid has gone away.
4. Add in the refried beans and mix well. Scoop some of the mixture (between 1/2- 3/4 a cup) into the center of the burrito and fold the edges over. Place in the baking dish.
5. When the dish is full put into the preheated oven for 7-8 minutes. Enjoy!!
