Ingredients

    1 1/2 cups old-fashioned oats
    1/4 cup wheat germ
    1/4 cup coarsely chopped pecans
    1/4 cup coarsely chopped almonds
    1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
    2 Tbs sesame seeks
    1/2 maple syrup or honey
    2 Tbs butter, melted
    1 large egg white
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1 cup Sun-Maid Fruit Bits

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat 12-cup muffin tin with cooking spray or line with muffin papers. Spread oats, wheat germ, nuts and seeds on rimmed baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes or until fragrant and lightly toasted. Reduce oven temperature to 300 degrees. Combine syrup or honey, butter, egg white and vanilla in large bowl. Add Fruit Bits and oat mixture; stir well. Spoon 1/3 cup mixture into each muffin cup; pack down. Bake for 35-40 minute in dark metal pan, or 40-45 minutes in regular pan, until well browned. Cool completely in pan before removing. Store in airtight container.
