Introduction

I made this with what I had around the house. I made this with what I had around the house.

Ingredients

    16 oz. spaghetti
    1 lb. ground beef, extra lean 93%
    1 can v8 juice
    1 can diced tomatoes
    1 cup crushed tomatoes
    2 TBS tomato paste
    2 TBS oregano
    1 bay leaf
    1 TBS garlic powder
    1 TBS onion powder
    crushed chili flakes
    fresh basil
    salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Brown beef. Add tomatoes, crushed tomatoes, v8 juice, tomato paste and seasonings. Simmer for 30 mins. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook spaghetti until al dente. Mix pasta and meat sauce together. Makes 7 servings.
