Ingredients

    Garlic powder, 1 tsp
    Cabbage, red, fresh, 1 head, small (4" dia)
    Celery, raw, 3 stalk, large (11"-12" long)
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    Water, tap, 4 cup
    Stewed Tomatoes, Canned, No salt, 4 Cup
    Mrs. Dash-Original Blend, 2 tsp
    Garlic-minced 4 tsp
    Rice-Brown, 1 cup
    93% lean ground beef-16 oz
    Bouillon-Herb Ox Beef-no sodium added, 4 serving
    Soup-Campbell’s Tomato 25% less sodium, 4.5 cup
    Kidney Beans-Joan of Arc Light Red, 4.5 cup
    Chili powder, 2 tsp

Directions

1) Saute onions in Olive oil Pam, add beef and brown. Place both in crockpot.
2) Add all remaining ingredients, including reserved liquids, except the rice. Mix well.
3) Mix several times during cooking process.
4) Add rice 1/2 hour before serving.
Makes 21, 1 cup servings.
Freezes well.

    This is a very good recipe. The two tastes worked well together. I had a 1 cup serving before dinner and had to hold my dinner off a few hours because this was so filling. I will make again. - 9/14/09
