Introduction

A great traditional addition to stews and casseroles. Great with my "Awesome Beef Stew"!

Also delicious with a big pinch of thyme added (or other herb as appropriate for your stew).

Ingredients

    125g plain flour
    1 tsp baking powder
    0.5 tsp salt
    1 tbsp olive oil
    75ml semi-skimmed milk

Directions

Put all ingredients in a bowl, bring together with a fork and knead briefly.

Roll mixture into 5 walnut-sized balls and place on top of stew in an oven-proof dish.

Place in oven at 200 celsius for 35-40 minutes.
