Introduction

This is Chef Meg's recipe, almost, except I had to make some changes for things on hand. I used TJ's wheat pizza dough and MorningStar Farms Veggie Crumbles instead of turkey.     12 oz. package, Morningstar Farms Veggie Crumbles
    2 tbl per calzone, Kraft 2% shredded sharp cheddar
    .5 cup finely chopped onion and red pepper
    3/4 tsp ground cumin & 1.5 tsp chili powder
    2 garlic cloves
    3/4 cup salsa verde

  • I made this as well with Veggie round, 2 homemade pizza dough and added a can of black beans, less cheese (3/4c) and 1 3/4 cup med salsa and it was great - 3/31/11
