Introduction
The recipe calls for 3/4 oz. of dried seaweed reconstituted which should yield almost 12 oz.Recipe also calls for 1 tsp. sugar, however, I don't want the sugar, it also calls for Hot Chili Flakes to taste, there were none listed in the ingredient selection. Ingredients
-
3/4 oz. Dried Seaweed (Reconstituted)
3 Tbsp. Rice Wine Vinegar
1 Tbsp. Sesame Oil
1 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
1 tsp. packet Splenda
1 tsp. Ground White Sesame Seed
Hot Chili Flakes to taste
Directions
Place Seaweed in boiling water just till it turns green, remove immediately to ice water bath, then remove and cut into strips and refrigerate.
With an immersion blender put rest of ingredients except for sesame seed and chili flakes.
Prior to serving toss seaweed with dressing and sprinkle with sesame seed and chili flakes
The seaweed will reconstitute to 11.75 oz.
This will be an excellent accompaniment to cold boiled shrimp or left over chopped chicken.
It is extremely filling, I would think it should serve 6.
