Introduction

This meat mixture makes a lot and is great in any mexican type dish- enchiladas, tacos, burritos, casseroles, nachos, taco salad, etc. I love to use it for Mexican Pita Pizzas (recipe shared in spark recipes). Ingredients

    1 lb lean ground beef
    1.5 cups chopped onion
    3 cloves garlic, diced
    1 can drained black beans, low sodium
    cumin and chile to taste

Directions

Brown ground beef.

Mix in onion and garlic. Cook 3-5 minutes until onion starts to carmelize.

Mix in beans and seasoning. Heat through.

Serve.
