1 Pillsbury Banana Quick Breads Box Mix
1 Small Banana, Mashed
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 cup Unsweetened Apple Sauce
Directions
Mix all ingredients for 1 1/2 mins with electric mixer. Pour into sprayed loaf pan. Bake on 375 (or 350 for a dark pan) for 35-40 mins or until toothpick comes out clean.

When I used this recipe the batter was so stiff, it just did not bake well, and was very dry. Did the recipe mean to make the mix from the box, using oil, eggs, and wataer 1st, and then add addtional banana, baking powder, apple sauce?. I was lucky that I had another box! so used that instead. - 2/18/13
