Introduction

Ingredients

    2 15.5oz cans of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
    3 Tbl extra virgin olive oil
    1 tsp onion powder
    1 tsp granulated garlic
    1/2 tsp ground cumin
    1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
    1/2 tsp sea salt

Directions

Toss chickpeas onto oil sprayed cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Turn oven temp to 425degrees.
Remove chickpeas from oven and toss with olive oil and spices.
Roast an additional 15-20 minutes.
Cool.
These store in an airtight container for up to 1 month.

    I made these a few days ago and they are to die for!! I didn't have any garlic so I used garlic powder and didn't have any cayenne so I used Mrs Dash Southwest Chipotle seasoning. I also used only 2 Tbs oil and they were fine. Probably could have shortened the 2nd roasting a bit but overwell, yummy! - 11/19/09

    My 4 rating may be due to my oven and not the recipe. I couldn't get most of them crisp. The flavor, however, is great. It is a much healthier replacement for some of my regular 'bad' bedtime snacks. Thank so much for sharing! - 7/18/13
