Trying a dried bean version. Trying a dried bean version.
Number of Servings: 8


    Onion, chopped, 1 cup
    Garlic Cloves, 2 minced
    Peppers, green chili, 2 4oz cans, diced
    Oregano, ground, 2 tsp
    Cumin seed, 2 tsp (remove)
    Pepper, red or cayenne, 1/2 tsp
    Beans, navy, dried 1 cup
    Beans, great northern, dried 2 cup
    Water, tap, 2 cup (as needed to cover beans)


Rinse and soad beans overnight. In the morning rinse again and put into slow cooker with rest on ingredients. Cover and cook on high 6 to 9 hr.

Serve over brown rice.
