Introduction
Its my version of it to my taste. Its my version of it to my taste.Number of Servings: 6
Ingredients

1/2 cup of vegetable oil
All purpose flour, 1/2 cup
1/2 cup of onions(white)
1/2 cup of Green Bell pepper
I stem of Scallion
1/2 lb. of Sausage(Italian or Andouille)
1/2 lb. of Medium Uncooked shrimp
2 tbsp black and cayenne peppers(powder
3 minced garlic cloves
3 or 4 cups of white rice
Directions
Heat oil in a pot on high heat.
Then add flour and mix it in and when all mixed with no lumps lower heat to medium low and stir occasionally so not to stick for about 15 min. When flour is a nice brown color and you have a nice nutty smell, add the onions, peppers and scallions and stir in. Cook with medium heat for 15 more min. or untill vegies are soft then add shrimp and sausage and cook in medium heat stirring occasionally for 20 min. When sausage is cooked through it is ready to eat. Ladel over bowls of cooked white rice and serve.
Note: Celery and or Okra can be used in this recipe but i am not a fan of Vegies.
