Introduction

These meatballs are made with Uncle Bens Long Grain and Wild Rice These meatballs are made with Uncle Bens Long Grain and Wild Rice

Ingredients

    1.5 lb. Lean Ground Beef
    1 box Uncle Ben's Long Grain and Wild Rice (Original - Do not use the Fast Cook as it does not taste the same)
    1 medium onion chopped
    1 Can Tomato Soup

Directions

Heat the soup over low heat adding the water as per the can directions. Place the ground beef, onion and Uncle Bens Rice including the seasoning packet into a large bowl and mix well. Shape into 12 meatballs and place in a 9 X 13 inch baking dish. Pour the heated tomato soup over the meatballs, cover and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until the beef is done. These are great served with mashed potatos.

    Very Good
    The rice was still a little crunchy, but overall they were VERY tasty. Instead of tomato soup, I poured a little pasta sauce over the meatballs (Sockarooni in this case) so that could have resulted in the rice not getting as soft as it would. Delicious though. - 8/22/16
