Introduction
These definitely aren't the healthiest but they are so good to make once a year for halloween! Ingredients

4 cups flour
2 cups oats
2 tsp soda
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1.5 cups butter, softened
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
16 oz. pumpkin
1.25 cups chocolate chips
Frosting:
1/3 cup butter, softened
4.5 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
food coloring
Directions
Combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. In a separate bowl, cream butter, add sugar, egg, and vanilla. Alternate mixing butter mixture and pumpkin into dry ingredients. Add chocolate chips. Shape into rough pumpkin shapes with stem. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.
Frosting:
Cream butter. Mix in 1 cup powdered sugar, then milk and vanilla. Gradually add the rest of the powdered sugar; add milk if necessary to desired texture. Remove a small amount; add food coloring to make the larger amount orange and the small amount green.
Makes approximately 3 dozen large cookies; more if you make them smaller.
