Ingredients

16 oz Jennie O Turkey Ham
    3 cloves garlic
    1 cup onion
10 oz pkg of frozen peas
    1 tsp red pepper flakes
    2 T olive oil
half box of whole wheat pasta - any kind

Directions

Saute garlic, onion, and red pepper flakes in olive oil until tender but not brown. Defrost peas in microwave, drain and add to garlic and onion and cook at medium heat for 5 minutes. Chop turkey ham into 1 inch pieces and add to garlic, onion and peas; heat until warmed through (turkey ham is already fully cooked). Meanwhile, cook pasta in boiling water, drain and add to skillet with turkey ham. Stir until pasta is coated with other ingredients. Serve with parmesan cheese if desired (adds salty flavor, as none is added in recipe). Makes four servings.
