Introduction

This a simple traditional winter squash recipe. We like this with Pork tenderloin or Thanksgiving dinner. We have cut the butter and brown sugar and kept the flavor with the addition of apple cider. Ingredients

    1 Winter Squash - acorn works really well.
    3 ounces of Apple Cider
    1 tbsp. Pumpkin Pie Spice

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Slice squash in half, scrap seeds and insides out of the inside of squash. Stab the inside of the squash with a fork. Place on a cookie sheet and bake for 45-50 minutes until squash is tender. With oven mitt carefully scrape squash out of both sides of squash and put into oven safe dish mix in cider and spices until smooth. Return to over for 5-10 minutes.
