Angel Food Cake Mix (the kind you only add water)
    Lemon Pie Filling
    Powdered sugar

Blend together angel food cake mix and pie filling. Spread in jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar. Cut into 20 pieces.

I was told you can use any flavor pie filling, but lemon is the only one I have tried.

The nutritional info is wrong. 1 angel food cake=1680. 1 lemon filling=840. (1680+840)/ 20 srv = 126 calories per serving not counting powdered sugar. Still good tasting. - 6/16/11

While looking for low-cal, GREAT-tasting sweet recipes, I came upon this one...Absolutely fantastic! Prepared the cake mix per the box instructions and added the pudding (in powder form), mixed, baked, sprinkled w/ a touch of contectioner's sugar, and served. The whole family enjoyed!!! - 5/3/11

I love these bars. So easy so light and so many! Definite do again. The nutritional info is amazing. BTW if you add a lemon glaze using 1 T. butter, 1 cup Powdered sugar and the juice of ! lemon, the bars stay moist and it only adds a couple of calories per bar. YUM - 2/8/11
