Ingredients

    Filling:
    2 pounds firm baking apples, cored and cut into 1/4 inch slices
    2 Tbsp. orange juice
    1/4 cup Splenda Granular
    1 Tbsp. all-purpose
    1/2 Tsp. cinnamon

    Topping:
    1/2 cup all-purpose flour
    6 Tbsp. old-fashion rolled oats
    1/2 cup Splenda Granular
    1 Tsp. cinnamon
    4 Tbsp. light butter

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly coat an 8x8 inch glass baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. In a large bowl toss the apples with the orange juice. Mix Splenda, flour, and cinnamon together in a small bowl. Sprinkle over the apples and toss. Place apples in the prepared pan. In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, oats, Splenda, and cinnamon. Cut butter with a pastry blender, fork, or fingers until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Sprinkle over apples. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until apples are tender and crisp is bubbling.
Delicious served warm.
Serves 6.

    If anyone has a deep dish baker (Pampered Chef Stone), this recipe cooks in 15 mins. Melt the butter in the baker and add all of the things for the topping and cook in microwave about 10 mins. Stir and then remove and place on waxed paper to cool, crumbled. Then cook The filling in the microwave - 12/4/09
