Ingredients

    300 grams jumbo oats
    100 grams powdered skim milk
    100 grams chopped almonds
    50 grams chopped walnuts
    50 grams course ground flax seed
    50 grams shredded coconut
    1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
    1/2 tsp ground cloves
    1/2 tsp nutmeg
    1/2 tsp salt

    100 grams unsweetened apple sauce
    80 grams maple syrup
    1 tbsp coconut sugar
    1 tbsp walnut oil
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1 tsp almond extract

    80 grams dried cherries
    80 grams green raisins

Directions

Preheat the oven to 160°C. Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper. Set aside.

In a large bowl, mix together all the dry ingredients for the granola. Add the wet ingredients, and mix until well combined.

Spread the granola mix onto the prepared sheet pan in one layer. Toast in the oven at 160°C for 45 minutes until the granola is crisp and brown, stopping every 10 minutes to stir.

Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan. Mix in the dried fruit.

Makes 20 servings of 40 grams.
