Ingredients

1 head cabbage, chopped
1 small red apple, peeled and chopped
1/8 c. olive oil (I'll use less next time I make it)
1/2 c. dried currants (fancy, sweet, light raisins)
3 Tbs. cider vinegar
3 Tbs. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
2 Tbs. Kikkoman's Terriyaki sauce and marinade (it's like soy sauce)
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Heat olive oil in heavy skillet and add cabbage, cover tightly.
Add salt and pepper and clove. Stir.
Cover tightly.
Add vinegar and sugar. Stir.
Cover tightly.
Add apples, currants. Stir and guess what? Cover tightly.
Toss in Terriyaki sauce last and let steam and simmer till the cabbage is as soft as you like. But remember, the crisper it is, the more nutients you will retain!
