Number of Servings: 25

    2 cups crunchy peanut butter
2 scoops protein powder (chocolate or vanilla)
    2 ripe bananas mashed
2 tbsp flax seed (I used ground flaxseed)

In a large bowl, mix to together peanut butter, protein powder, bananas, and flax seed. Mold the mixture into walnut-sized balls (melon scoop works well) and place them in a container lined with parchment to separate the layers. Freeze at least 2 hours before serving, best if frozen overnight.

I used almond butter. Except for the top layer, all my other balls flattened, so next time I will try to have a single row. - 4/16/12

Is there any way to make this, or something like it, without the bananas? I'm very interested but am, unfortunately, allergic to bananas. Any suggestions welcome! - 4/2/13

  • Instead of 2 cups peanut butter and 2 bananas, I used 1 cup peanut butter and 1 banana, and I also added 2tbsp Nameste Gluten-Free Flour. This thickened it up quite a bit and it tastes great! - 12/18/13
