Ingredients

    Beef chuck, arm pot roast, 3 lb (remove)
    Sweet potato, cooked, baked in skin, without salt, 4 medium (2" dia, 5" long, raw) (remove)
    Beef broth, bouillon, consomme, 1 cup (remove)
    Carrots, raw, 2 cup, chopped (remove)
    Onions, raw, 3 medium (2-1/2" dia) (remove)
    Lipton onion soup mix, 2 serving (remove)

Directions

In large skillet heat oil and brown roast. In slow cooker arrange veggies on top of roast. combine soup mix w/ water and add to slow cooker. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-6 hours. Remove roast and veggies. To thicken gravy stir in 1/4 cup water blended w/ 2 Tablespoons flour. Cook on high till thickened.
