Introduction

I have made these cookies both ways and I prefer them with almond flavoring and made into cookies.

very tasty and great for people who don't have time to eat breakfast.

Number of Servings: 18

Ingredients

    1/14 cups sugar
    1/2 cup soft margarine
    1/2 cup peanut butter
    1/4 cup water
    1 tbsp vanilla or almond flavoring
    1 egg

    stir all together then add
    1 1/2 cup whole wheatflour or all purpose flour
    1 cup oatmeal
    1 cup raisins
    1/2 tsp each of baking soda and salt

    gently stir in 4 cups cheerios

Directions

pour into ungreased 9 x 13 pan

bake 15-20 minutes until golden brown in 375 F deg oven

cookies drop by 1/3 cupfuls 4 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet flatten to 1" thick bake for 11 to 13 minutes or until golden brown let stand 5 minus store loosely covered.
