A quick and easy soup that will be a family favorite!

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    3 cups baby spinach chopped
    1 9oz. package tortellini of your choice fresh or dry(i used tri color cheese -dried)
    4 c. chicken broth
    4 c. vegetable broth
    1 c. water
    1tbs black pepper
    3tbs garlic powder
    3tbs parmesan cheese

Directions

In a 3qt pot heat up all liquid and pepper and garlic, bring to a boil. (you can always flavor to taste as well)

Add in pasta reduce heat to medium and cook for 10 mins.

Add in spinach and cook for another 4-5 mins or until pasta is at desired consistancy.

Serve with Parmesan cheese garnish. Enjoy!

    O.K.
    DO NOT use 3Tbsp Black Pepper. When I made it I thought that's too much and I cut it in half. But it was still too much. I salvaged it by draining the spinach and tortellini and making more broth. - 12/11/08
