Introduction

Ingredients

6 Chicken thighs, skin and bone removed
2 tbsp Honey
1 tbsp Syrup (pancake/maple)
1 cup Soy sauce
1 cup Orange juice
1 tsp Ground ginger
Directions
Thaw chicken thighs. Mix honey, syrup, soy sauce, orange juice, and ground ginger in large ziploc bag/container. Place chicken thighs in bag/container, seal, and shake to coat chicken thighs completely. Set for 30min to 2 hours (depending on how much flavour you want). Grill for 3min.
Options:
- Can use more syrup and omit honey entirely.
- Can substitute orange juice with mango juice (but reduce honey as it might be too sweet).
- Can garnish with green onions or parsley flakes.

Gosh, this was YUMMY! I subbed chicken breast tenderloins for the thighs, and used real maple syrup, fresh ginger and reduced-sodium soy sauce. Served it over a salad of mixed greens, mandarin oranges and pineapple tidbits, with a light dressing. EVERYONE loved it (a rarity in our household!). - 8/11/08
