Introduction

Recipe is modified from my grandmother's recipe. Goes great with blueberries, or topped with lowfat cool whip and sliced strawberries. Recipe is modified from my grandmother's recipe. Goes great with blueberries, or topped with lowfat cool whip and sliced strawberries.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 1/2 cups Buttermilk
    1/6 cup vegetable oil
    1 large eggs
    1/4 cup sugar
    1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
    1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt


Directions

Mix all ingredients together with a whisk. Let sit for 5 minutes, then cook on heated grill until edges look dry and bottom is golden brown. Flip, and cook until bottom is golden brown. Serve hot.
