Introduction

Refreshing, sweet and tangy coleslaw with no mayo. I use splenda to keep carbs low but you could use sugar and adjust calories accordingly. Refreshing, sweet and tangy coleslaw with no mayo. I use splenda to keep carbs low but you could use sugar and adjust calories accordingly.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 bag of coleslaw mix (about 6 cups)
    1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar
    1/2 cup of Splenda
    1/4 cup of orange juice (fresh squeezed if possible)
    1 Tablespoon of grated orange zest
    2 teaspoons of soy sauce (low sodium if possible)
    2 Tablespoons of toasted sesame oil
    1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
    pinch of cayenne pepper

Directions

Put coleslaw mix in a large plastic bowl with a lid.

Wisk other ingredients together in a seperate bowl. Pour mixture over coleslaw mix, close the lid and shake.

Refrigerate several hours to allow flavors to develop. Shake again before serving.

Makes 6 aproximately 1 cup servings.
