    3/4 c. margarine or butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 c. mashed bananas (approximately 3 VERY ripe)
    3 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. chopped nuts (optional)
