Introduction

Yummy & delish! You can eat plain or fill a pita pocket or bread with this twist to the plain old boring tuna salad! Yummy & delish! You can eat plain or fill a pita pocket or bread with this twist to the plain old boring tuna salad!

Ingredients

    1 5 oz can of tuna (packed in water)
    1 hard boiled egg (can use only whites for less calories)
    1/4 cup canned peas (can use frozen if preferred)
    1 T light mayo
    1 T Ott's fat free Poppyseed dressing (yummo!)
    1/2 cup celery chopped
    **you can also add chopped onions and season to taste with salt & pepper

Directions

Boil 1 large egg. Drain & rinse 1 5 oz can of tuna (packed in water, not oil). Put in bowl and add in chopped hard boiled egg (can use only whites for less calories); chopped celery; 1 T light mayo; 1 T Ott's fat free Poppyseed dressing; 1/4 cup peas from can or can use frozen peas, thawed by running water under them, you can also add in chopped onions and salt & pepper to taste. Mix all ingredients together and chill.

Serve either by itself, stuffed into a tomato, in a pita pocket or however you would like it!

Makes 2 lunch servings.
