Ingredients

    400g minced beef
    1 onion, diced
    1 red pepper, diced
    1 tsp italian dried herbs
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 tbsp flour
    1 tin chopped tomatoes
    1 beef oxo cube
    water
    splash worcester sauce

Directions

Crumble the mince into a pre heated non stick pan over a medium to high heat. Let it cook for a few minutes before adding the onions, peppers,garlic and herbs.

Turn the heat down a little and cook until the onion and peppers are soft (about 10 minutes). Tip the mince into a seive to remove any excess fat and return to the pan.

Continue cooking on a medium to low heat and stir in the flour. Allow to cook for a few minutes before adding the tomatoes and the oxo cube. Half fill the empty tomato can with water and tip that into the pan as well.

Allow to simmer for 10/20 minutes until it has reached the desired consistancy then stir in the worcester sauce.

Serve with 150g of cooked pasta per person ( not included in calorie count) and parmesan grated over the top.

    Very Good
    Very good. It probably need some salt and pepper added at the end, but very good! I used 1/4 cup sundried tomatoes and didn't have red pepper. Will def make again! - 5/17/11
