    1 pkg cake mix (yellow or white works best)
    2 (4 serving size) boxes of instant pudding mix (chocolate is best)
    4 cups cold milk
    1 cup powdered sugar


Prepare cake mix as on box, bake in 9x13 pan. Remove from oven, poke holes with back of spoon or straw at 1" intervals. After poking holes, combine pudding mix with sugar in large bowl. Gradually stir in milk. Beat at low speed with electric mixer for NO MORE THAN one minute. Do not overbeat! Quickly, pour half of the thin pudding evenly over warm cake and into the holes. Allow remaining pudding to thicken slightly; spoon over top, swirling to "frost" the cake. Chill at least one hour, store in refrigerator. Cut into 20 pieces.
