Introduction
This recipe is my twisted version of calzones taken from two other recipe's already posted. This recipe is my twisted version of calzones taken from two other recipe's already posted.Number of Servings: 6
Ingredients

Dough:
1 C. water
1.5T olive oil
1 c white flour
1c + 2T whole wheat flour
1.5T sugar
.75t salt
2t yeast
2t cumin
2t chili powder
Filling:
1 lb. lean ground turkey
.5c chopped red pepper
.5c chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
2t cumin
2t chili powder
.75 c salsa
1c Sargento shredded mexican low fat cheese
Directions
Put all dough ingredients per instructions into bread machine and set on dough cycle.
In a sauce pan, brown the ground turkey, onion and peppers, then add spices and salsa. Remove from heat.
When dough is ready, knead on foured surface & shape into a large circle. Move onto a large round stone (pampered chef) which has been lightly sprayed with non stick spray. Put filling on one 1/2 of the circle leaving a1/2" border around the edge for sealing. Sprinkle the cheese over top of the filling and fold over the dough and seal. May need to use egg whites to seal. Top with egg whites for a crisp brown crust. Bake for 30 minutes at 350F or until crust is evenly browned. Cut into 6 slices and enjoy.
