Ingredients

    1 lb. ground turkey
    1 small chopped onion
    3 cloves garlic
    1 14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes
    1 1/4 c. water
    8 oz. can tomatoe sauce
    1 6 oz. can tomato paste
    1 T dried parlsey flakes
    1 t. dried basil
    1 t. dried oregano
    6 oz. dry whole wheat egg noodles
    1 c. 1/% cottage cheese
    1/4 c. parmesan cheese
    1/4 c. egg substitute

Directions

Brown turkey with onions and garlic. Drain.
Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, herbs and stir in uncooked egg noodles. Bring to a boil stirring occaisionally.
Cover, reduce heat and simmer 20 min. or till pasta is al dente.
Combine cheeses and egg sub. Drop by table spoonfuls, cover and cook 5 min. more.

    I just wasted 30 minutes putting my recipe in that was almost identical...guess i should have searched first!!! :)
    I used penne, ricotta and dried minced onion, but otherwise, it's identical! :)

    Very Good
    I love that this recipe uses turkey instead of beef. Much healthier, and you don't notice the difference. Very easy to make! - 10/21/07
