Sweet, filling, healthy waffles.
Great topped with fruit or jam
Can be frozen after cooking then popped in toaster for those hectic mornings.

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    2 cups water, soy or nut milk
    1 2/3 cup quick or rolled oats
    1/2 cup wheat germ
    1/4 cup whole flax seed
    2 tsp sweetener (honey,maple syrup,brown rice syrup,cane juice crystals,sucanat,fructose,corn syrup,brown or white sugar)
    1 tsp vanilla, optional
    1/2 tsp salt

Directions

(Optional: place one cup of oatmeal into blender and blend)
Blend smooth all ingredients. Spray waffle iron with nonstick spray. Pour batter into a preheated waffle iron. Bake 15-20 minutes.
Yields 4 6" waffles
