Ingredients

    2 rolls Jimmy Dean Light Pork Sausage - browned
    30 oz bag Ore Ida Country Style Hash Browns (Frozen)
    1 medium Onion - chopped
    1 Green Pepper - chopped
    3 cups Mushrooms - sliced
    2 cups Kraft 2% Shredded Cheddar Cheese
    1 large carton Egg substitute (equivalent to 15 eggs)
    1/2 cup Skim Milk
    Everglades seasoning or salt & pepper to taste



Directions

Brown sausage and chop the vegetables. Spray 6 quart crock pot with cooking spray. Layer 1/3 hash browns, 1/3 sausage, 1/3 veggies and 1/3 cheese (in that order) into crock pot. Repeat with remaining ingredients to create 3 layers. Whisk egg beaters, milk and seasonings together and pour over layers in the crock pot. Cook on low overnight for 8-10 hours. Makes 12 servings, approximately 3/4-1 cup each.

    This was overcooked after eight hours. Turned it to "warm" after 5 hrs and it was still dried out. Next time I will not leave overnight. - 12/25/10
