Ingredients

    1.5 lb. pork loin roast
    28 oz. can peeled whole tomatoes
    1/2 onion, chopped
    2 carrot sticks, chopped
    1 celery sick, chopped
    7 oz. whole wheat penne pasta
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. dried Italian herbs

Directions

Serves 6.

Brown pork roast on all sides. Place onion, carrots, and celery on bottom of crock pot. Lay browned roast on top of vegetables. Break up tomatoes with your hands, and place them along with juice from the can on top of roast. Add garlic powder and italian herbs, and stir a little. Cook on low setting for 8 hours.

Serve with pasta, cooked according to package directions.

    Very Good
    I wanted a little more flavor and a little less soup. I did add 1/2 tsp. black pepper. Next time I will increase the spices and add a 6 oz. can of tomato paste to thicken the broth. - 9/9/13
