A delicious low fat soup filled with flavor. A delicious low fat soup filled with flavor.

    1 pound ground turkey
    1 cup diced onion
    1 can diced tomatoes (15 oz)
    1 can tomato sauce (15 oz)
    2 cups chopped bell pepper
    3 cups water
    1 T beef bouillon
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1 cup cooked rice


Brown turkey and onion. Drain. Add all other ingredients and simmer over medium heat for about an hour.

Makes ~ 12 (1 cup) servings

    This soup was amazing!! Next time though Im going to add less meat, more peppers and I added garlic power and some pepper. I also added .5 cup extra rice. YUMMO! Will def make again. My hubby loved it!
    My calories came out to 211 per cup and it only made 10 cups.

    I just made this for my lunches this week and am impressed! It's such a simple recipe but it tastes SO good! I also added more rice to make it a little more hearty and it is perfect! :) - 11/25/12
