Ingredients

1 cup dry oats (Country Choice, Quaker, or other)
1 cup dry five-grain oats (Old Wessex 100% whole grain)
2 packs "Flax Paks" organic milled flax seeds
1/4 cup dates (or more or less than depending on your taste)
1 small organic granny smith apple, chopped
Cinnamon (I put about 1.5 TBLSP-it's good for blood pressure!)
1/4 cup chopped, pitted dates (NOT the ones coated w/sugar)
1/4 cup chopped almonds, pecans and/or walnuts
five (5) cups of filtered water

Directions

Combine ALL ingredients in your slow-cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 7-9 hours (overnight). Stir well and scoop into bowls with oversize spoon. Serve with whatever type of milk you like, i.e., soy, rice, almond, hemp, dairy, etc..

Oops, you are right! It is 5 cups of water. I will go back and fix that; thanks! P.S. I made this last night, and am having it right now. I think it is very good (and it's definitely very healthy!)
