Ingredients

1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
2 cups old fashioned rolled oats
1/2 cup agave (could use honey or pure maple syrup)
1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil (could use applesauce to substitute!)
1/2 cup almond butter( I used peanut butter and also calculated it with peanut butter not almond butter)
    1 tbsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 tsp Kosher salt
    1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup of dark chocolate bar broken into chunks
    1 banana

Directions

Put all dry ingredients into a bowl and then pour wet ingredients on top. Stir together until completely blended. Make round ½ - 1 inch balls of dough and place on cookie sheet. Bake in oven 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees! Yummy!

    Very Good
I used 1/4 c.butter instead of olive oil, and 1/2 c. brown sugar instead of agave--and these are great! Not too sweet, slightly salty, and so chocolaty... the banana and almond butter add nice, not too overwhelming flavor--my kids dig them, which is the reason I made them. Thanks for a great recipe - 4/30/10
