Ingredients

    *2 cups- fresh basil leaves
    *1/2 cup- olive oil
    *1/2 cup- Kraft Reduced Fat Grated Parmesan Cheese
    *3 cloves- fresh garlic, minced
    *1/3 cup- slivered almonds
    *To taste- black pepper and NoSalt Sodium-Free Alternative (1/2 tsp of each used for nutrition calculation)

Directions

1. Toast almonds and minced garlic in a stove-top pan. Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly until the almonds turn light brown (about 5 minutes). Let cool for a few minutes.
2. Combine all ingredients EXCEPT olive oil in a blender or food processor.
3. Mix on a low/medium setting, slowly incorporating the olive oil.
4. Blend all ingredients until smooth, but not "liquified".

Enjoy! The recipe makes approximately 16 1-tbsp servings.
